The National Capital Region Police office (NCRPO) Regional Director PDIR Carmelo E Valmoria gratified and lauded the 10,393 NCRPO police who endured the tired, sleepless nights, rains, and many other challenges they encountered during the Papal Visit 2015 in the Philippines particularly in Metro Manila on January 15 to 19.
The NCRPO’s month-long security preparation to secure the safety and security of the Pope and the huge spectators were properly implemented on the said event.
Moreover, it is the dedication, unified and relentless efforts of every police personnel accompanied with cooperation, support and coordination with the other government agencies and the public made the event to success.
Valmoria also acknowledged the augmentation force from Police Regional Office (PRO): PROCOR, PRO 1, PRO 3, and PRO 4-A who helped in crowd control and ensure the safety and security of the public.
PDIR Valmoria assured that the NCRPO will give corresponding reward to all deployed police officers as well as to the standby personnel who are ready and prepared to give assistance whenever needed.
“Once again, the NCRPO have showcased our efficiency and capacity to maintain the peace and order in our areas of responsibility,” Valmoria said as he assured the public that the NCRPO will continue to serve, protect, maintain peace and order as inspired by the Pope’s message and God’s blessings.
