QCPD-CIDU Operatives Encounter Group of Robbers in Quezon City
In Quezon City, joint operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) led by PI Elmer Monsalve and Police Intelligence Operation Branch (PIOB-QCPD) led by SPO2 Hector De Vera neutralized three (3) hold-up suspects responsible in robbing the cash sales, cellphones, and other belongings of Cemento Pilipinas Inc. (hardware) located at 818 Commonwealth Avenue, in Brgy. North Fairview at 12:10PM February 27, 2013.

NCRPO: Metro Manila, Zero Incident on 27th EDSA People Power Anniversary
The five (5) police districts of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported to PDIR Leonardo A Espina, Regional Director, NCRPO that no untoward incident happened within Metro Manila yesterday, February 25, 2013 during the 27th EDSA People Power Anniversary Celebration, at Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) People Power Monument in Quezon City.

Hi-jackers and More Hold-uppers Fall Over the Weekend
In Manila, Anti-Carnapping (ANCAR) operatives of Manila Police District (MPD) arrested five (5) suspects responsible in the hijacking of a delivery truck with plate number NRI-649 with estimated value of one million eight hundred thousand pesos (1.8M Php), loaded with assorted coca-cola products amounting to more than Php200,000 at 11:00AM February 22, 2013 along Mendiola Extension, in Paco based on the complaint of Louie Maglalang y Puno, 25y/o, Operation Manager/representative of Macks Link Services.

310 NCRPO Rookie Cops Graduate from Public Safety Field Training
Three hundred ten (310) rookie cops of the NCRPO graduated from Public Safety Field Training Class 2012-01, Alpha to Foxtrot in the graduation ceremony held on February 22, 2013 at National Capital Region Training School, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig. While one hundred ninety-two (192) police officers the five police districts completed the Ten (10) - Day Patrol Supervisory Course in a simple closing ceremony on February 21, 2013 held at NCRPO Grandstand with USEC. Felizardo M. Serapio, Jr. from the office of the Executive Secretary of Law Enforcement and Security Integration Office as the guest of honor and speaker.

SEVENTY-FIVE (75) SPD COPS RECEIVE AWARDS
National Capital Region Police Office represented by NCRPO’s Deputy Regional Director for Administration PCSUPT Paterno P Hernandez awarded 41 Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal) and 34 Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) today, 8:00AM during the Flag Ceremony at Southern Police District (SPD), Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City to SPD’s police officers who have done the series of exemplary performance for the month of January to February, this year particularly: arresting of hold-uppers involved in Robbery-holdup in Western Union-SM Bacoor Branch; apprehending of notorious bus hold-upper in Muntinlupa; neutralizing the one of most wanted person in Pasay City; and pacifying the hostage taking in Taguig.
