NCRPO Housing Project

Another housing project under Administrative Order Nr 9 was signed and approved by no less than His Excellency President Benigno Simeon Aquino III last April 11, 2011. This flagship housing project is intended to those military and police personnel especially the non-commissioned officer who are still at this time do not own house and lot. HEPSAIII assured that the government will provide 20,000 low cost housing units for the AFP and PNP personnel that will be accessible and near to their places of work assignments.

The approved package is a Rowhouse with a minimum lot area of 36 sqm and a floor area of 22 sqm with a total cost of Php 175,000.00. The recommended government subsidy is Php 35,000.00 and therefore the approved cost of the package is Php 140,000.00. The monthly amortization payments shall be based on a thirty year-repayment period at an interest rate of 6% per annum, using the escalating scheme to meet the minimum monthly housing allowance of the beneficiaries at least Php 400.00.

Salary deductions for the payment of the monthly amortization shall be arranged between NHA and the AFP and the PNP.  A collection agency or company maybe commissioned by the NHA for this undertaking.

The projects are located on the following areas: Central Luzon (Bocaue and San Jose del Monte Bulacan), Southern Luzon (Biñan, Bgy Looc and Bgy Kay-Anlog Calamba Laguna and Bgy Conchu and Bgy de Ocampo, Trece Martirez City and Gen Trias, Cavite) and Eastern Luzon (Barras, Rizal). With provision for lot areas for Community Facilities that will serve the social, economic and cultural needs of the project and other amenities.

The Regional Engineering Office being the Secretariat of the Regional Housing Board encourages the men and women of NCRPO to avail of this housing project. Interested personnel may download the NHA form and submit the same duly notarized and properly filled-up to the Regional Engineering Office.
