PDIR Leonardo A Espina, Regional Director, National Capital Region Police Office recognized and awarded Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) to the eight (8) policemen from Marikina City Police Station during the NCRPO’s Flag Raising and Awarding Ceremonies, held at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City in the presence of Ms. Nora G. Lucero, General Secretary of the Philippine Bible Society (PBS) as guest of honor and speaker.

Joint operations and relentless efforts of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), Armed Forces of Philippines (AFP), Commission on Election (COMELEC), and Local Government Units (LGUs) on the implementation of Gun Ban for Secure and Safety Election (SAFE 2013) against criminal groups resulted to the confiscation of 180 firearms; 9 hand grenade/explosives; 75 deadly weapons; and apprehension of 327 violators.
Espina Orders Investigation, Preventive Suspension of Two (2) PO1 in Fairview Police Station
PDIR LEONARDO ESPINA, Regional Director, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) orders today to remove the badge, disarmed, file administrative cases, relieve and preventively suspend PO1 George B. Verbo Jr., and PO1 Thomas Jansen C. Tulio, both assigned in Fairview Police Station (PS-5, QCPD) for alleged robbery/extortion case base on the complaint filed against them by Salustiano John Douglas y Dela Cruz, call center agent and Nominia Blanco y Sison.

In Caloocan City – police patrollers of Caloocan City Police Station composed of PO2 Renen Malonzo, PO2 Danbeth Geronga and Eshrappel Mulao of Anti-Carnapping Unit of Barugo Police Station (BPS) were conducting patrol yesterday along Zabarte Road corner Cielito Homes Subdivision in Brgy. 177 in Camarin resulting to the arrest of Paulo Angelo Encabo @ Paulo, 30 for Usurpation of Authority and Illegal use of Insignia.

EPD Cops Score over weekend: Arrest nine (9) Anti-Illegal Drugs Violators
In Pasig City – police personnel of Pasig City Police conducted the anti-illegal drugs operations over the weekend at different areas of Pasig City which resulted in the arrest of nine (9) suspects for Violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Drug Acts of 2002). The said operation forms part of the directive of National Capital Region Police Office chief POLICE DIRECTOR LEONARDO A ESPINA to intensify the campaign against anti-criminality and anti-illegal drugs in the Metro.
