SEVENTY-FIVE (75) SPD COPS RECEIVE AWARDS
National Capital Region Police Office represented by NCRPO’s Deputy Regional Director for Administration PCSUPT Paterno P Hernandez awarded 41 Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal) and 34 Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) today, 8:00AM during the Flag Ceremony at Southern Police District (SPD), Fort Andres Bonifacio, Taguig City to SPD’s police officers who have done the series of exemplary performance for the month of January to February, this year particularly: arresting of hold-uppers involved in Robbery-holdup in Western Union-SM Bacoor Branch; apprehending of notorious bus hold-upper in Muntinlupa; neutralizing the one of most wanted person in Pasay City; and pacifying the hostage taking in Taguig.
87 Ncrpo Cops Participate in Seminar On Laws And Jurisprudence
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) started 8:00AM today, a three (3) – day seminar on laws and jurisprudence for the PNP Public Safety Field Training Program facilitated by the Institute of Government and Law Reform (IGLR), University of the Philippines at NCRPO Multipurpose, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig. The seminar was participated by 587 police recruits: 133 from Northern Police District; 80 from Eastern Police District; 105 from Manila Police District; 127 from Southern Police District; and 142 from Quezon City Police District.

In Quezon City – on board a police mobile patrol Galas Police Station elements (PS-11 QCPD) led by PSUPT Norberto Babagay and his team composed of PO3 Micheal Soriano, PO3 Jerryl Lucena, PO3 Isagani Ignacio, PO3 Wilson Cana, PO2 Roy Benaberde, PO1 Noneo Masirag, PO1 Ace Mota, and PO1 Eliza Bibe neutralized a hold-upper at about 12:30AM today (February 15, 2013) along Quezon Avenue near Araneta Avenue in Brgy. In Caloocan City – police personnel of Caloocan City Police Station (PS-1, NPD) led by PINSP Ernesto Palting manned a night-time checkpoint at about 10:45PM February 13, 2013 along Gen. San Miguel St., in Brgy. Sangandaan. PO1 Carlito Dematera and PO1 Genesis Acana scored over the hold-upper, Noel Hasal y Pueblo, 20 y/o, native of Samar, resident of Gumaok West, CSJDM, Bulacan.

27 NCRPO COPS COMPLETE EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL TRAINING
National Capital Region Police Office held yesterday, 3:00PM February 13, 2013 the graduation ceremony for Explosive and Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Proficiency Class 2012-01 at NCRPO Grandstand, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City where twenty-seven (27) police officers that includes (2) police commissioned officers and twenty-five (25) police non-commissioned officers completed the 160 training hours of instruction.
