ESPINA SACKS FOUR (4); DEMOTES FOUR (4) AND SUSPENDS EIGHT (8) ERRING POLICEMEN
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Regional Director PDIR LEONARDO A ESPINA recognized the performance of its personnel by giving medals and commendation to the good working policeman and by giving disciplinary sanction to the erring one. Effective 08Feb2013, Espina dismissed the four (4); demoted the five (4) and suspended the eight (8) erring policemen of NCRPO.

In Manila - Ermita Police Station (PS-5 Manila Police District (MPD)) headed by its Station Commander PSupt Ferdinand Ricafrente Quirante held a on 3:30PM 06Feb13 in Robinsons Mall, P. Faura Wing, P. Faura St. in Ermita under the supervision of PCSUPT Alejandro Felizardo Gutierrez, District Director, MPD while NCRPO Regional Director PDIR Leonardo A. Espina was the special guest and spectator.

In Quezon City - police personnel of Fairview Police Station (PS-5 QCPD) arrested Edna Santos y Dipol, 42 y/o for Estafa and Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority on 1:00PM 05Feb13 at SM North Edsa based on the complaint of Ryan Joe Florano 28 y/o, residence of no. 7 Medical St., SSS Housing in Brgy. North Fairview, and employed as business processor of Monolite Insurance Company.

Espina Orders Strict Implementation of COMELEC Resolution 9561 in Metro Manila
Districts and Police Stations of National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported to NCRPO chief PDIR LEONARDO A ESPINA the total night and day checkpoints conducted from 13Jan13 to 05Feb13 have reached to 1,134 checkpoints with total strength of 9,429 police personnel. Checkpoints conducted includes 175 in Northern Police District; 163 in Eastern Police District; 300 in Manila Police District; 238 in Southern Police District; and 258 in Quezon City Police District which resulted to the arrest of 157 offenders or violators of COMELEC Resolution No. 9561-A, imposing a nationwide “Ban on Bearing, Carrying or Transporting of Firearms of Other Deadly Weapons” and Republic Act No. 8294 (illegal/unlawful possession, manufacture, dealing in, acquisition or disposition of firearms, ammunition or explosives or instruments used in the manufacture of firearms, ammunition or explosives); confiscation of 93 firearms; 8 hand grenade/explosives; and 75 deadly weapons.

National Capital Region Police Office held its 22nd PNP founding anniversary with a theme “pulis at mamamayan tungo sa serbisyong makatotohanan,” with Atty. Jubil S. Surmieda, Director IV of the Office of the Regional Election Director, National Capital Region Commission on Elections as the guest of honor and speaker 9:00AM today, 4Feb13 at NCRPO grandstand, Camp Bagong, Bicutan, Taguig.
