National Capital Region Police Office presented to the Chairman of NCR-Regional Joint Security Coordinating Center (RJSCC), Atty. Juvil S Surmieda, Regional Director COMELEC-NCR and to the Chief PNP PDG Allan La Madrid Purisima, on Friday the security plans and program to be implemented this forthcoming May Election.

Espina Awards 21 Policemen with No Derogatory Records Dismisses 14 More for the Month of April
The intensive campaign of Police Director Leonardo A Espina, Regional Director of the National Capital Region Police Office on recognizing best performing policemen and cleaning its rank continues, as he recognize 21 police officers with Medalya ng Mabuting Asal. Espina pinned 838 medals to exemplary performing personnel. However, he dismissed 14 and penalized 44 others for this month. This brings the totality of 7,261 medaled policemen; 109 dismissed; and sanctioned 208 others since the campaign was implemented on September 7 last year.Medalya ng Mabuting Asal (Good Conduct Medal) is given to police officers with no derogatory records. He/she has no administrative and criminal charges filed against him/her within five (5) years of PNP service.
Espina Gives Posthumous Award to PO1 Edgar Valdez Jr.
“Buong-pusong ipinagmamalaki at pinararangalan ng NCRPO ang kadakilaang ipinamalas ni PO1 Edgar Valdez Jr. hanggang sa huling sandali ng kanyang buhay, ipinagmalasakit ang kapakanan ng ating mamamayan” – Police Director Leonardo A Espina said as he gives the “Posthumous Medalya ng Kasanayan” to the family of PO1 Edgar Valdez Jr. in his wake at the Valdez’ residence in 347 Sitio Uno St., Sangandaan, Caloocan City.

“I ordered the disarming, removal of badge, and immediate conduct of summary dismissal proceedings for these six (6) erring SPD policemen allegedly involved in kidnapping for ransom and robbery extortion.” –Espina said.
